«Gasparin» regresará en formato de serie live action

Ciudad de México. Una nueva serie live action de Gasparin, el fantasma amigable, se encuentra en desarrollo por parte de la plataforma Peacock. En esta ocasión, esta nueva versión será mucho más oscura que lo que hemos visto con el personaje anteriormente.

La serie se encuentra en desarrollo de la mano de Peacock y reimaginará el origen de Casper a través de una historia coming-of-age que explorará lo que significa estar vivo.

La serie, además, estará ambientada en una secundaria, por lo que todo apunta a ser no solo oscura, sino que vendrá cargada de un fuerte peso emocional, habitual en estos dramas juveniles.

Este personaje existe desde 1945, época en la que pertenecía a Famous Studios. En 1952, Harvey Cómics adquiere los derechos del personaje y empieza a publicar historietas del mismo a través de viñetas.

En el año 1995 tuvimos su primera película live action del personaje de la mano de Universal Pictures. La película fue protagonizada por Malachi Pearson, Christina Ricci y Bill Pullman, entre otros. Al igual que esa película noventera, la nueva serie también presentará al amigable fantasma a través de CGI.
