Acaba con un oro el TKD veracruzano en Juegos Conade

Fernando Hernández/Veracruz. Veracruz cerró su participación en estos Juegos Nacionales Conade 2022 en Sinaloa con una medalla más en el tae kwon do en la modalidad de team five. Al final, la delegación sólo aportó un oro durante los días de competencia.

El equipo femenil Júnior obtuvo la medalla de bronce tras perder en semifinales ante la representación de Jalisco.

Las chicas del equipo veracruzano iniciaron su camino con triunfo por más de 20 unidades de diferencia a la Ciudad de México con lo que aseguró medalla y obtuvo su pase a la semifinal.

Ahí le tocó enfrentar a Jalisco que venía de eliminar a las anfitrionas y terminaron perdiendo ante las tapatías 44-57 para así quedarse con la medalla de bronce. Aunque la final las occidentales se tuvieron que conformar con la plata la perder la final ante Nuevo León.

El equipo veracruzano estuvo integrado por: Kelly Michelle Lambert Palestina, Ashley Rotonda, Avril Giselle León Jiménez, Lesly Abigail Huerta Mosqueda y Naomi López Castillo, además de Adriana Montserrat Gutiérrez y Erika Leilani González Álvarez, cómo suplentes.

La cosecha final de la delegación veracruzana en el tae kwon do fue de un oro, dos platas y cuatro bronces, todas ellas en la modalidad de combate. En poomsae no se ganó nada.
